First of all, I only took one picture and in that picture I forgot my avocado. UHG I was so mad at myself after we demolished this dish! This was kind of a last minute decision to make anyway. Rich is out of town on a business trip in Texas so my best friend decided to come stay the night with me. I was going to make just good ol’ ground beef tacos, but I stopped at the market earlier and bought fresh tilapia so we wanted to spice it up! Let me just say this whole prep (including cooking the tilapia) only took us like MAYBE 10 minutes! It is definitely going to be a staple meal in my house because of this and the fact that it is delicious!

Last night was a little bit crazy because someone came over to look at our couch we have for sale & they took it home with them. We were not expecting that and like I said Rich is on his business trip so I’m without a couch until he gets home Saturday (or maybe longer). I also HAVE to tell you guys this because I thought it was hilarious. Rich called me later that night after he went out to dinner (sidenote I’m posting the picture he sent me because since he’s in Texas he got some authentic tacos!). I asked what kind of couch he wanted me to start looking for and he goes “Well, we could go ahead and get that 80″ TV we wanted and get the couches after my bonus in December”. I’m like, “babe we have guests over all the time so are we going to ask them to sit on the floor to stare at our BIG ASS tv or what?” I love him, but the man in him took over last night when he mentioned the television over places for us and our guests to sit LOL. Needless to say we are going to look at couches this weekend and getting the television on Black Friday like we usually do! Rich’s tacos are below!

Ingredients:

4 Tilapia filets

corn tortillas

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon cumin

1 tablespoon salt

1 tablespoon black pepper

1 tablespoon paprika

Slaw

3 cups green cabbage

1/2 red onion

1/2 cup sour cream (I just eyeballed this)

juice from whole lime

salt and pepper to taste

SOOOO, I usually just eyeball my spices and I’m a little heavy handed because Rich and I live for spicy foods. A whole filet will be about 2 tacos so adjust this for however many people/tacos you are serving! I decided to add sliced avocado, but you can also add cilantro for garnish! Again, literally this is the easiest recipe ever and it’s perfect for anyone like me AKA lazy AF. :):)
